FAQ
Where are the classes?
We partner with London’s best dance venues to provide classes. Our Monday classes are at BASE STUDIOS (Vauxhall), our Friday classes are at The Manor (Finsbury Park), and our Saturday classes are at LIFT (Angel)
How do I book a class?
Classes can be booked on our booking page on Bookwhen. Please book online before attending the class in person. We advise booking early as classes often sell out. We generally do not accept cash payments, but if you can only pay with cash, DM us, and we can try to accommodate it.
How much are classes?
2 hour classes are £17 and 1.5 hour classes are £14. You can book a pass, which will bring down the cost per class!
What should I wear to a dance class?
Comfortable clothing you are able to move freely in. For shoes, please wear comfortable indoor shoes, such as sneakers or trainers. Do not wear heels or platform shoes, unless it is specified that it is a heels class. Do not wear flip flops.
What ages are allowed in dance class?
We generally accept anyone who is above 13 years old. If you’re a guardian and wondering if specific dance classes are suitable, please message us on Instagram and we can advise. We don’t have an upper age limit, but please note the dance classes are intense, so please only attend if your health is in good conditon.
Can I come even if I have never danced before?
Yes! We welcome dancers of all abilities and experiences. Our Beginner classes will be great to help you get started. If you’re looking for a challenge, you can attend our All Level classes.
What is the difference between Beginner and All Level classes?
Beginner classes are taught at a slower pace, and the teachers explain each move in more detail. All Levels will be faster pace and more difficult. We do welcome dancers of all levels to attend All Level class, but those classes you will challenged a bit more. Nonetheless we always have a supportive environment, and don’t be afraid to book an All Level Class!
What can I expect for my first dance class?
We will start with a 5-10 minute warm up to get your body primed for dance, expect cardio followed by stretching! Afterwards we will spend the majority of the class learning the dance routine. The routine will be broken down into sections, and each section you will learn the moves and practice with music. Then the last 20 minutes of the class you will get the chance to dance it out. Feel free to film/ask someone to help film you dance it out. We film class videos just for you as well!
Will there be filming in classes?
Usually we have a professional videographer come take videos! If you don’t feel comfortable being filmed, let the teacher or videographer know, and we won’t film you.
